Dennis Martire Managed To Achieve Exceptional Results
One of the most important factors in the continuing success of a union is its ability to work with both sides. While LiUNA, the Laborers’ International Union of North Amercia is certainly geared towards the advancement of its members this is achieved through working with both employees and their employers. As a result of this synergy, LiUNA and its president Dennis Martire have managed to achieve exceptional results for all members; whatever industry and whatever role they fill, LiUNA members know that membership gives them greater benefits.
While initially established to give laborers and contract workers in the North Atlantic region a voice, LiUNA and Dennis Martire have enjoyed incredible levels of success that have led to the expansion of the union so that it now incorporates many other industries and a considerably greater number of job roles. Public sector employees, and of course employers, can enjoy improved salaries and benefits, greater pension entitlements, and even free vocational training to help advance their improvement.
Construction workers that are members of LiUNA enjoy considerably better working and pay and benefit conditions. Whereas the average percentage of workers for the industry that have health insurance is just 46% of workers, 82% of construction workers that are part of a union enjoy health insurance coverage. What’s more, average pay for LiUNA members is more than 50% higher than for non-union construction workers. These are just some of the benefits that construction workers and other members gain when they join with LiUNA and Dennis Martire with a single unified voice.
